Danielle McLean, a Family Nurse Practitioner Board Certified (FNP-BC), has joined the team at Central Carolina Urology in Sanford. She began seeing patients on March 25, collaborating with Paige Hamilton, MD, and Kevin Khoudary, MD, at the Medical Arts Center located at 1139 Carthage Street, adjacent to Central Carolina Hospital (CCH). McLean is available for patient consultations on Tuesdays.
Dave Santoemma, CEO of CCH, expressed the significance of the new addition by stating, "Central Carolina Urology is continuing to grow in order to meet the growing healthcare needs of our community. Adding new providers further improves access to local urological care for residents of Sanford and Lee County."
McLean hails from Fuquay-Varina and has a strong academic background. She received her Master of Science in Nursing from Duke University School of Nursing in 2023 and completed her Bachelor of Science degree at East Carolina University in 2015.
Currently, McLean is also employed with Associated Urologists of North Carolina, PA. Her previous experience includes over nine years as a Registered Nurse at UNC Rex Health in Raleigh and Duke University Health System in Durham.
Her clinical knowledge spans general surgery, urology, vascular surgery, and trauma step-down care. McLean’s career objectives include offering quality and compassionate care, advancing her clinical practices, and enhancing overall patient health outcomes.
In her free time, McLean enjoys traveling, attending local sports events, and spending time with friends and family.
