After three years of hard work, determination, and an ever-increasing passion for helping people, the seventh graduating class of Doctor of Physical Therapy students will have their degree conferred upon them on Dec. 17 during the Campbell University Winter Commencement Ceremony. The cohort of 39 plowed through what seemed like insurmountable obstacles during their DPT studies and have emerged victorious with their diplomas in hands.

Prior to graduating, the class celebrated with family and friends on Friday, December 16 during a Convocation Ceremony in Hobson Performance Center, which can be watched by clicking the link, where they received their hoods and where honors were awarded.

Kimberly B. Ward, instructor of English with the College of Arts & Sciences, gave the convocation address. She left the students will three takeaways for life: 1. Sit at the feet of the masters and surround yourselves with encouragers 2. Take the good with the bad 3. Leave your baggage behind. Learn more about Ms. Ward in the program and hear her full address in the recording using the link above.
