“Our lab’s accreditation from The Joint Commission means that our patients can rest assured that the care they receive at CCH meets national standards for quality and safety,” said Dave Santoemma, CEO of Central Carolina Hospital. He praised the laboratory staff as "the unsung heroes" who ensure safe and quality care through rigorous testing and analysis.
The Joint Commission develops its standards with input from healthcare experts, providers, measurement experts, and patients. These standards are based on scientific literature and expert consensus to help organizations improve their performance.
Ken Grubbs, Executive Vice President of Accreditation and Certification Operations at The Joint Commission, commended Central Carolina Hospital for its commitment to advancing patient safety and quality care.
