Lee County, NC — March 9, 2023 — The Lee County Government (LCG) Health department will be ending the use of the 919-842-5744 phone line to register and to ask questions concerning COVID-19 on March 24th, 2023 at 5:00 p.m.

Heath Cain, Lee County Health Director, shared, “the COVID-19 call volume has decreased over the last few months and we will begin transitioning these calls to our clinical administrative team on March 27th, 2023 at 8:00 a.m. We continue to strive to vaccinate all who have an interest in receiving the vaccine, so remember, the health department is the spot for your shot.”

The Health Department is still providing COVID-19 vaccinations to anyone who is interested and meets the criteria to be vaccinated. Their goal is to protect the health and well-being of Lee County residents as we all work collaboratively to protect each other.

If anyone is interested in scheduling an appointment, please call 919-718-4640 from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. If you are interested and only speak a second language, please call the number above and you will be directed to staff who will schedule you an appointment. For media inquiries, please contact Hailey Hall, Communications Specialist/Clerk to the Board of Commissioners at (919) 718-4605 or hhall@leecountync.gov.
