The Hurricane Region of the Porsche Club of America (HURPC) has provided a scholarship for the Automotive Restoration Technology program at Central Carolina Community College. HURPC includes the Eastern portion of North Carolina - with a little over 1,600 members/co-members in the region. Pictured are, left to right: Dr. Emily C. Hare, CCCC Foundation Executive Director; HURPC's Tom Roos, Bill Hill and Sherri Qualls; CCCC Automotive Restoration Technology instructors Kiel Rhodes and Richard Heptig; and Dr. Jon Matthews, CCCC Harnett County Provost. The CCCC Foundation is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization affiliated with, but independent of, the college. It receives donations of money and equipment on behalf of CCCC and uses them to promote the educational mission of the college and assist students through scholarships and grants. For information on giving to the CCCC Foundation, contact Dr. Emily C. Hare, Executive Director of the CCCC Foundation, 919-718-7230, or ehare@cccc.edu .
