***NATIONAL NIGHT OUT SCHEDULED FOR OCTOBER***
After a two-year hiatus, the City of Sanford is excited to announce it will celebrate National Night Out on the first Tuesday in October this year.
After skipping the event the last two years due to the public health crisis, the Sanford Police Department, Sanford Fire Department, elected officials, and staff hope Sanford’s neighbors are ready to gather together this fall.
“Our goal is to reconnect with our community and bring neighbors back together in a fun and safe way for all involved,” says Kelly Miller, public information officer and National Night Out program coordinator for the City of Sanford.
Registration is now open on the City’s website. Registration will close on September 27, 2022.
