Sanford City Council has changed its regular meeting time, effective immediately.
Council will now meet at 5:00 p.m. in Council Chambers at the Sanford Municipal Center on the first and third Tuesday of each month.
Public hearings will be held on the third Tuesday of each month during the regular meeting. Hearings will begin at 6:00 p.m. Those who want to speak during a public hearing must arrive 10 minutes prior to the hearing to sign up.
Additionally, Council voted to hold a workshop on the second Tuesday of each month at 1:00 p.m. Workshops will be held in the West End Conference Room of the Sanford Municipal Center.
Public comment is open during the first meeting of each month. Those who want to make a general public comment must sign up at least 15 minutes prior to the meeting.
All meetings, hearings, and workshops are open to the public unless Council goes into closed session. Meetings are televised on Sanford TV191 on Spectrum (formerly Charter) and published on our website here.
