Sanford Fire Department Hosts Christmas Toy Drive

City of Sanford recently issued the following announcement.

In keeping with its 25-year tradition, the Sanford Fire Department is holding its 3 Alarm Toy Drive to provide Christmas gifts for families in need at the North Carolina Jaycee Burn Center at UNC.

The department is also collecting items that could be used by families, which includes hygiene products, entertainment items, and gift cards. All donations should be new and unwrapped.

Stations are located at the corner of Weatherspoon Street and Hawkins Avenue, on Woodland Avenue, and on Cool Springs Road. All stations are open 24 hours a day.

The drive will run through Tuesday, Dec. 14, 2021. Donations will be delivered directly to the NC Jaycee Burn Center at Chapel Hill.
