City of Sanford recently issued the following announcement.
The public shall take notice that the City of Sanford has the following vacancies that exist on the various Boards, Commissions, and Committees:
One healthcare/medical appointment on the American with Disabilities Act Compliance Committee – term expires June 30, 2024;
One alternate appointment on the Board of Adjustment, which also serves as the Housing Appeals Board – term expires June 30, 2023;
One resident commissioner appointment on the Sanford Housing Authority – term expires June 30, 2023.
One alternate appointment on the Planning Board – term expires June 30, 2022.
One hotelier (lodging) appointment to the Sanford Tourism Development Authority – term expires June 30, 2023.
Applications are available in the City Clerk’s office at the Sanford Municipal Center, 225 East Weatherspoon Street, Sanford, NC, or can be downloaded from the City’s website at https://sanfordnc.net/323/Boards-Commissions.
