On Saturday, March 8, former Triton High School standout Jalen Evans’ current college team, the Wingate Bulldogs, won 1-0 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Mars Hill Mountain Lions.
The game took place at Henderson Field. This was their third matchup against the Mountain Lions this season.
The Bulldogs’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, March 11 at 2 p.m. at Ron Christopher Stadium against Francis Marion Patriots.
