On Sunday, March 9, former Lee County High School standout Sophia Scott’s current college team, the Methodist Monarchs, lost 7-6 in their NCAA Division III softball game against the Piedmont Lions.
The game took place at Walnut Creek Athletic Complex. This was their first matchup against the Lions this season.
The Monarchs’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, March 9 at 3:40 p.m. at Walnut Creek Athletic Complex against Christopher Newport Captains.
