Former Triton High School player and current Wingate Bulldogs infielder, Jalen Evans, will compete in the NCAA D2 Baseball Championship Tournament.

They begin the tournament as a number six seed against the third seeded Mount Olive Trojans.

The first game is on Thursday, May 16.
