The Doctor of Pharmacy program test-takers in 2022 posted an 88.2% first-time passage rate on the North American Pharmacist Licensure Examination (NAPLEX). This first-time passage rate places Campbell University in the top 25 schools nation-wide. It is also above state (86.1%) and national (79.6%) averages. The group also had a first-time passage rate above national average on the Multistate Pharmacy Jurisprudence Examination (MPJE).
“We are very pleased to be ranked in the top 25 pharmacy schools in the nation based on our NAPLEX results,” said Beth Mills (’98 PharmD), chair of Pharmacy Practice. “Our faculty share their passion for the profession with our students and help them achieve great success in the classroom and during their experiential learning. This is evident in our history of passage rates above state and national levels.”
The NAPLEX measures students’ competency to successfully practice pharmacy. The MPJE more closely examines a students’ knowledge of federal and state laws pertaining to pharmacy.

Adams (’96 PharmD, PhD). “Our continuous high-ranking NAPLEX results are a testament to the tireless efforts of our students and the support provided by our faculty and staff.”
