The City of Sanford has updated the email address from which utility bills, purchase orders, and EFT notifications are sent to customers and vendors. This change is to limit the amount of system-generated emails being marked as spam.
Effective immediately, utility bills, purchase orders, and EFT notifications will be sent from noreply@cityofsanfordnc.net. Customers and vendors should add this address to their safe senders list.
If an email from this address is marked as spam, recipients should mark the email as “not spam” so that subsequent emails will be delivered directly to their inboxes.
For questions or concerns, utility customers should contact the Customer Service Department at 919-775-8215. Vendors should contact the Finance Department at 919-777-1139.
