Residents in Sanford/Lee County will soon have another option for internet service, as Ting Internet is currently adding Sanford to its network of high-speed fiber service.

What to expect: Ting crews use door hangers to alert residents that they will be working in a neighborhood. Placing these hangers is the only time workers are on private property.

All locate paint marks, flags, and digging will take place in the public right of way. No construction will take place on private property unless requested by the property owner. See this construction diagram from Ting's website for a visual:

Construction typically lasts a couple of days in front of each home. Foot and road traffic may be impeded during this time.

Important: No resident is required to choose Ting Internet as their internet service provider.

Crews will be operating in Sanford through the end of the year. For more information about Ting, visit their website here.
