ST ANDREWS CHURCH ROAD BRIDGE HAS RE-OPENED.

 CITY FIRST RESPONDERS HOST CHRISTMAS GIFT DRIVES 

The City of Sanford North Carolina Fire Department and Sanford Police Department NC are hosting toy drives to provide Christmas gifts for families in need. 

The fire department has kicked off its annual 3-Alarm Toy Drive, which began in 1996 and benefits families at the North Carolina Jaycee Burn Center at UNC. In addition to toys, firefighters also welcome hygiene products, entertainment items, and gift cards. Donations can be dropped off through December 14. 

The police department is collecting toys for local families. Donations of new, unwrapped toys can be dropped off through December 9.

All donations for both drives should be new and unwrapped. The departments are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
