City of Sanford recently issued the following announcement.
Sanford City Council will hold a special-called meeting on Tuesday, November 30, 2021, at 6:00 p.m. in the West End Conference Room of the Sanford Municipal Center, located at 225 East Weatherspoon Street in Sanford.
The purpose of the meeting is to discuss major proposed changes to the Unified Development Ordinance (UDO). Discussion of the draft amendments will focus on the significant changes to the UDO’s residential zoning districts and related development regulations. Discussion will also include the potential impact of the draft changes to the City’s land use plan and long-range planning.
