City of Sanford recently issued the following announcement.
Each year, the City of Sanford Appearance Commission plants a tree to celebrate Arbor Day. For 2021, the Commission will plant the tree in Depot Park.
The planting will be on Thursday, Nov. 4, 2021, at 9:00 a.m. The public is welcome and encouraged to attend.
Celebrating Arbor Day is one way the City of Sanford maintains its Tree City USA status, which it gained in 2014.
