Health Department Offering COVID-19 Testing

Lee County issued the following announcement on Aug. 4.

With the recent rise of Covid-19 cases in Lee County, the Lee County Health Department (LCHD) will begin Monday providing Covid-19 testing for individuals who are interested in being tested.

Beginning Monday, August 9th, Individuals needing to be tested can do so at our clinic, located at 112 Hillcrest Drive, Sanford on Mondays from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm and Wednesdays from 9:00 am to 12 pm moving forward.

We ask residents to register online at https://leecountync.seamlessdocs.com/f/gcledzvhxslb or by calling 919-842-5744 to make a testing appointment.

Heath Cain, Director of the LCHD said, “With the number of Covid-19 positive cases increasing locally, we want the community to have access to this important tool so they will be aware and mitigate the spread of the virus.  We are here to improve the health of our community and testing will aid in helping us achieve that goal.”
