Fearrington Village recently issued the following announcement.
Wine Class – Loire Valley Cabernet Franc: Chinon & Bourgueil

Join Fearrington Sommelier Saiff Hammad and taste six wines made from the Cabernet Franc grape. Chinon and Bourgueil in the Loire Valley are spiritual homes for this grape, producing tart red berry driven fruit with a streak of bright, herbaceous flavors, and stony minerality.
The in-person class fee is $75 and will be held at The Garden Terrace, or join online via Zoom for $55.
Information regarding online classes will be sent at least 48 hours in advance. Please check your email, including your spam folder.
The fine print: To ensure safety and quality, classes are extremely limited and will be capped. Due to the unique nature of set-up for these classes, tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable to other dates. If your plans have changed, please feel free to send a lucky friend in your place! Just send us an email with their name or have them bring your confirmation email.
