On Saturday, March 22, former Lee County High School standout Sophia Scott’s current college team, the Methodist Monarchs, won 6-0 in their NCAA Division III softball game against the Mary Baldwin Fighting Squirrels.

The game took place at MBU Softball Field. This was their second matchup against the Fighting Squirrels this season.

The Monarchs’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, April 1 at 1:55 p.m. at Don Price Field against Meredith Avenging Angels.
