On Thursday, May 1, former Southern Lee High School standout Carrie Ellen Bryan’s current college team, the Wingate Bulldogs, won 3-2 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Carson-Newman Eagles.
The game took place at Wingate Softball Complex. This was their third matchup against the Eagles this season.
The Bulldogs’ next game is scheduled for Friday, May 2 at 10:30 a.m. at Wingate Softball Complex against Lenoir-Rhyne Bears.
