On Friday, March 14, former Chatham Central High School standout Jaylee Williams’ current college team, the Appalachian State Mountaineers, lost 8-2 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Texas State Bobcats.

The game took place at Bobcat Softball Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Bobcats this season.

The Mountaineers’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 15 at 2 p.m. at Bobcat Softball Stadium against Texas State Bobcats.
