On Tuesday, April 8, former Southern Lee High School standout Jalan Jones’ current college team, the Norfolk State Spartans, lost 12-8 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Old Dominion Monarchs.

The game took place at Marty L. Miller Field. This was their first matchup against the Monarchs this season.

The Spartans’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 11 at 3 p.m. at Joe Cannon Stadium against Coppin State Eagles.
