Danielle McLean, a Family Nurse Practitioner, has joined Central Carolina Urology and began seeing patients in Sanford on March 25. She will work alongside Dr. Paige Hamilton and Dr. Kevin Khoudary at the Medical Arts Center located at 1139 Carthage Street, adjacent to Central Carolina Hospital (CCH), with patient consultations scheduled for Tuesdays.

Dave Santoemma, CEO of CCH, commented on the expansion: “Central Carolina Urology is continuing to grow in order to meet the growing healthcare needs of our community. Adding new providers further improves access to local urological care for residents of Sanford and Lee County.”

McLean hails from Fuquay-Varina and completed her Master of Science in Nursing at Duke University School of Nursing in 2023 after earning a Bachelor of Science degree from East Carolina University in 2015. Her professional background includes employment with Associated Urologists of North Carolina, PA, as well as over nine years as a Registered Nurse at UNC Rex Health in Raleigh and Duke University Health System in Durham.

Her clinical experience spans general surgery, urology, vascular surgery, and trauma step-down care. McLean aims to deliver quality care while advancing her clinical practice and improving patient health outcomes.

In her personal time, she enjoys traveling, participating in local sports events, and spending time with friends and family.
