On Tuesday, March 18, former Western Harnett High School standouts Bradley Wilson and Collin Welch’s current college team, the Appalachian State Mountaineers, lost 7-6 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Charlotte 49ers.

The game took place at Hayes Stadium. This was their second matchup against the 49ers this season.

The Mountaineers’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 21 at 6:30 p.m. at J. I. Clements Stadium against Georgia Southern Eagles.
