On Sunday, March 9, former Lee County High School standout BJ Brown’s current college team, the UNC Wilmington Seahawks, lost 7-4 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Southern Miss Golden Eagles.

The game took place at Pete Taylor Park. This was their third matchup against the Golden Eagles this season.

The Seahawks’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, March 11 at 6 p.m. at Bill Brooks Field against North Carolina Tar Heels.
